John Castle
established Castles (initially J R Castle & Co) in 1976, having
qualified
with a firm in Hertford in 1970, and the firm became known as Castles
in 2004. John Castle is head of the commercial property department,
with a wide range of clients in the UK and deals with commercial
property sales and lettings, and business sales and purchases.
Branwen Castle
is the partner at Castles who specialises in Private Client work, in
particular, Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection, Wills and Probate,
having trained with a well known London firm. She is a member of STEP.
Kate
Butt attended Essex
University, followed by the College of Law in Guildford,
qualifying as a solicitor in 2006. She joined Castles in January 2007
and assists Branwen Castle in the Wills and Probate department. She is
also experienced in family law practice.
Patrick Coni
attended Trinity University Dublin, before converting to Law. He
qualified as a solicitor in August 2006 at TWM Solicitors in Surrey
before joining Castles in the Hurstpierpoint office. He specialises in
commercial property, including property litigation.
Sally Smith
joined Castles in early 2007. She has a vast local
knowledge with 20 years experience.
Jeannette Staplehurst, a Licensed Conveyancer,
has been with Castles since January 1997
although has been conveyancing within the Mid-Sussex area for some 25
years and specialises in residential conveyancing matters. She is head
of the residential conveyancing department.
Marianne Trott, a qualified Licensed Conveyancer since
2001, has been
with Castles for the last six years, specialising in domestic
conveyancing.
